A Practical Introduction to the Christian Faith (non-denominational) --coming again in Fall 2008-- ALPHA day of the week to be announced 6:00pm-8:45pm All adults are encouraged to join us as we explore, in a relaxed atmosphere where no question is too simple or taboo, topics such as: What is the meaning of life? What happens when we die? Jesus today? How can I be filled with Holy Spirit? How can I make the most of the rest of my life? We'll share a meal (pizza or pasta!); watch a 40-minute video; then in smaller groups, retire to tables and exchange reactions to the material explored in the video. Helpers will be there to facilitate the group discussions. Every opinion will be respected. And we promise to end each evening by 8:45pm! In addition, there will be a "Day Away" about half-way through the course to learn about the Holy Spirit. The course is free, however, we will ask for a good will donation toward the meal each week. This coming Spring, please register for the course by mail or by phoning either church office.
